President’s Council

These are transformational times at our Health Science Center. Our Health Science Center’s researchers and clinicians are constantly on the forefront of groundbreaking discoveries and many of our doctors have been recently ranked among the best in the nation, according to national publications. This is only a glimpse into the many honors our outstanding faculty has earned.

As president, my goal is to raise this Health Science Center to a new level of excellence, prominence, funding and service. We are moving from a good university to a great university. We have a very bright future ahead, and I’m asking you to assist me in achieving this vision by pledging your support through our President’s Council.

President’s Council gifts help set the pace for philanthropy at our Health Science Center. With over $4 million in awards to the university since its inception in 1992, the President’s Council directly impacts the work of our outstanding faculty. The Presidents’s Council plays a vital leadership role in helping with our vision to advance our university to the top 10 percent of all research universities nationwide, and to create an environment that nurtures Nobel Laureate discovery in San Antonio.

The President’s Council awards are used to fund many important projects annually, such as scholarships, research, endowments and education. I trust that you will thoughtfully consider giving to our UTHSCSA President’s Council – together we can truly make lives better.
